The Crossville Knights of Columbus, Council 8152, have been sponsoring the Crossville Oktoberfest since 1991.   This year will be the 22nd year for the festival.

The Knights of Columbus is a chartiable fraternal organization of Catholic men.   In Crossville the Council is composed of members from both St. Alphonsus and St. Francis of Assisi Parishes.

The Plateau Pregnancy services, the ARC of Cumberland County, Hilltoppers, Hospice, House of Hope and the Cumberland County School Depot are just a few of  the many causes that the Crossville Knights of Columbus support.

The Oktoberfest is held the second weekend in October each year.     The first three years the Oktoberfest was held in the Armory in Crossville.  Since then the event as been held at the Knight's property on Highway 70 three mile east of downtown.   When it was first held there, the festival was held totally inside temporary tents.  Over the years, permanent building have been constructed.  Even now, temporary tents are brought in to supplement the space of the permanant buildings.   Last years attendance for the two days was 1800.  Each year many corporate sponsors have helped the Knights put on the event. The Knights would like to thank all the over 50 corporate sponsors that supported last year's festival.

It takes over 150 volunteers to work the festival each year.   Many of the volunteers are not Knights but supporters of the Knights.  A special thank you goes out to all the volunteers: Knights, Spouses, and non-Knights that continue to work the event.
